Summer Workshop 2023

From the first of August we will be offering a course on analogue photography, focusing on documentary photography from a number of different aspects. At the beginning of the course we will give an overview of the history of photography and discuss the practical and theoretical basics of analogue photography. These basics are fundamentally related to chemistry and physics, such as light and colours, cameras and lenses, exposure and different types of development, and we will practice colour and black and white printing. During the course we will carry out a group project after discussing and agreeing on a theme*. At the end of the course there will be a group exhibition (time, place and details to be agreed). The duration of the course depends on the number of participants and the agreement of the majority.
